Electric Building Roof Replacement

Purpose

The work consists of tearing off the existing built-up roofing. The work includes furnish and install labor, and all roofing materials, insulation, flashing, and drains for approximately 28,000 square feet of roofing.

Contract Time

The number of days within which the work is to be substantially complete and also completed and ready is set forth with the total number of days to final completion at 59.

Award of Bid

The award of the bid, if it is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder in each category whose bid proposal complies with all the requirements herein described.

Qualifications

Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category, Roofing, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement.

To demonstrate qualifications to perform the work, each Bidder must submit at the time of the Bid opening:

• A written statement of qualifications including financial data
• A summary of previous experience and previous commitments
• Evidence of authority to conduct business in the jurisdiction where the project is located
